Your test strategy may not hold water

After having shocked the Software Testing community by asking a bloody thought-provoking question and so likely unveiling one of our biggest elephants in the room, I’ve decided to opt for a more rhetorical query this time.

When you need to set up a kitchen, do you maybe check recipes/books written by someone skilled at cooking?

So, could you tell me why, when it comes to so-called “Automated Testing”, the only references (if any) you consider are the ones coming from programmers?

Don’t you feel you may be missing something?

And I don’t mean the smoking roast you forgot in the oven…
