Extreme Agility – Post #12: For Developers

The message Michael Küsters sends to developers within chapter 12, For Developer, of Extreme Agility, definitely deserves a reflection.

"[...] many things that are considered “best practices” in software development are nothing more than simplifications that help coders to move problems elsewhere. In an agile environment, “developer” is a global term including anyone working on creating or improving products. “Push it elsewhere” doesn’t work any more. Different thinking is required - even unlearning some practices that are considered standard in many organizations."

So, are you ready to get rid of what is preventing you from collaborating towards a common goal?
I hope so!
