Worrying alignment

It is good/desirable to get people aligned, isn’t it?

It is even better if the Project Manager and the Technical Lead readily reach agreement on virtually everything, isn’t it?

But what if they concur on the following fallacies?

  1. Anybody can test.
  2. (Except for Test Automation) Software Testing is not technical.
  3. Testing is easier than programming.

Don’t you think that it would be better to have a bit of misalignment/disagreement here?
